Was looking at Instagram and saw these beautiful fountain pens made by a company called Scriptorium. Was planning to buy one one day hopefully and add it to my collection, believe they use Jowo jobs.love the colours too.

Of course we know Scriptorium Pens.

Renée, the artist, is a member of the FPN and her work is present on the Pen Turning section:

You are right to want one of her pens. Her work is of utmost beauty and finesse.

Renée is a woman, wonderful to deal with and a talented pen turner. A custom with her is money well spent.

Yes, she uses Jowo but can work with some other nibs on request if needed.

I would recommend her work highly.

+1 to the posts above.

Renée produces some of the most attractive bespoke fountain and dip pens I have seen. Her focus is to work with the customer to produce bespoke items using good quality and attractive design materials. You can, if you wish, work with Renée to commission a design of your own to be made. There are extensive 'core' designs to choose from.

Another plus is that Renée will post your completed pen with nib of choice to one of the masters in nibs tuning if you so desire, by arrangement.

It is rare to see published progress photographs of pens in the making, Renée does this for every pen she produces. It has, and continues to be a valuable source of instruction to see what is currently being produced and how progress is managed.

The web pages of Scriptorium contain images of the wonderful pens produced.

I have a Illuminated Amber pen on order, I cannot wait to see it on the lathe being made! :)

Get in touch with Renée and treat yourself to something special!

Thank you for your help everyone here. I actually saw her work on Instagram and was so intrigued by her beautiful pens and work that it blew my mind away, not only that very reasonably priced too. I did add her to my Instagram Account. But her work is very nice and neat. She does post to Australia and worldwide and accepts PayPal too. If I decide to eventually get one I would probably get something on the slightly larger size but to be honest I don't really know how big her pen sizes are, she does make Oversize. Also are Jowo nibs nice to write with, she does both stainless steel and gold nibs. Thank you.

She works with almost any size pen body you desire. She doesn't currently have the equipment to work with the smaller vintage nibs (like the old Waterman #2) but bigger, is not an issue that I know of. I love her work.

I own a small Wordsmith that Renée made for me. It is a wonderful pen, and very well made, once I had it inked I didn't want to take it out of rotation. It was great fun working with her getting just what I wanted. I liked it so well I have my second order in. I'm not getting one of her standard models but working with her to create a new pen design based on another vintage pen I like. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly, a real craftswoman.

I have 3 custom pens and all have JoWo nibs of various sizes and all are smooth writers and all of them steel nibs. One thing nice about them is that the nib units are very easily traded out. I can go from an XF to stub depending on my mood.

Just as an example for size comparisons, my Pelikan M630 is 152mm posted and my small Wordsmith is 165mm posted. To me the small model is just right for average sized hands.

Scriptorium Pens is a well respected entity in the FPN forum. Renee is a talented craftsman/artist and just wonderful to work with. I'm currently in the queue waiting on a customized Bard pen. I'm sure it won't be my last. Recommend without reservation.
