For a brief period Parker put serial numbers on the nibs found in Duofold pens.

looks like a 1923-1926 extra fine nib

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

What's your source for that date range? I suspect circa 1931 based on the pens on which these are found.

What's your source for that date range? I suspect circa 1931 based on the pens on which these are found.

I have seen once a vintage senior flat top which was equipped with that kind of nib. Perhaps was it found more commonly on the streamlined duos? I don't know but it is just my personal opinion

Duofold book shows these nibs are from 1931-1932. There is also mention of a two tone nib in 1932.
