Thought of writing a small write up about some of my regular writers. This is the Ranga splendor torpedo in orange ebonite here. Purchased this through a virtual pen show by Ranga. This is a simple, neat, functional, balanced and everything more you can ask and expect from Ranga. Here is a link to the photos Over years, the most favorite girth for me has been the 17.5mm body and a 19mm cap. Really one more to add to the list of specifications is the torpedo shape. Ranga pulls of the torpedo shape with unmatched excellence and skill. Equipped with multi-start threads ( 4-start) , the pen uncaps in a little less than 1.5 turns and is a gorgeous everyday writer. Many people find the big pens, too big and are intimidated by the sheer girth and propotions. But trust me, they are gentle in every which way.
