“practice” tree

This is a “practice” tree trying out the technique of adding texture to watercolor images by means of pen & ink lines as practiced and demonstrated by American artist Claudia Nice ( not to mention old masters like Albrecht Durer ). 

I’m practicing this as I’m in the midst of a landscape painting where I want to add a couple of these trees with the texture technique.
