I have a pretty substantial mont blanc vintage fountain pen collection. Recently, i was going through my collection and ran across this pen which i had put aside long ago to do some research on it. It is a Vintage octagon Mont Blanc #6 “LM” safety pen. It has a large in tact mother of pearl star and a snake clip with a silver boss on the snake’s forehead. Does anyone have historical and/or other knowledge you would share? And, i would love some suggestions about whether i should have the pen authenticated and appraised and if so, suggestions on how and where to go about doing so.
