A great pen :) A "strange" unusual model - mid 30's Hard Rubber Safety (correct me if I am wrong).

Advertised by the company that can be used for india ink!... (I have not tried - I can not guarantee :))

In excellent condition. Box has a tear and top has a piece missing. The rubber is in excellent condition.

I can not see any discoloration (although the body is even so slightly shinier than the cap.

The pen has been restored by Richard Binder about 2 years ago and it is in fully functional condition.

And the nib... :) It is gold although I can not see the 14K mark.

Not full flex but the long tines and the extra fine tip makes for an exceptional contrast and can provide reliably a large range of width, which

is the definition of the Artist nib. It is very wet under pressure and have a very fast return. I very enjoyable nib.

There are remains of the sticker on the pen (you can see and Ar and a 7, from 751 Artist).

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
