Where can I buy sailor pens in Washington around the seattle/bellevue/tacoma area?

I can't tell you whether any of these shops have Sailor pens, but:

If you find more information on any of those shops, please feel free to update penshops.info with the brand info or comment with your review.

I've recently moved to China, and I'd like to know if anyone knows where a good source of ink is in Shenzhen or Hong Kong. I'd really like to buy some Noodler's here, but maybe I'll need to order that online. All the local stores I've seen so far only have Hero and Quink in Black, Blue, or Blue-Black... not very exciting

Also can't seem to find any pen shops in Hong Kong and am visiting at the end of Aug. Has no one listed any shops in HK? Thanks, Rajesh

I'm a member of my company's Purchase Dpmt.

We need to buy a large quantity of ink pens.

Also, we have a rather clear idea of format, body, nib, etc, which we want to make customizable for each individual.

Who is able to produce this for us? Any ideas?

Thank you!

Sorry to hear that. I'll take them off the site.

The site is set up so that anyone can edit or create, but only an admin can fully delete or hide a listing.

None in SC... great... I wish there were pen shops in SC or even Georgia, id drive to Georgia even if it takes me 2 hours...

There's one in Atlanta I haven't been to and a good one in Asheville NC. I'm not at home to try to post listings but if you search Asheville on FPN you should find discussions of that one.

Neat idea. I just added two shops in Dubai but they don't show up. I can see the country (United Arab Emirates) in the list of countries but clicking on it gives me a link titled 'unknown' - maybe its the state which is not entered in my entries.

It'll probably be helpful to let the user know if they're entering information that is incomplete (unsearchable) in some way. This is a lovely effort btw.

Salman

There are three in Atlanta - Artlite, MB boutique, and Total Fine Writing.

Windsor Jewelers in Augusta, GA carries Montblanc.

Mori's Luggage in Augusta also carries Montblanc, sparse selection of Waterman and Cross

I'm aware of the issue with "unknown" being a broken link. It's an annoyance and believe me, I've tried to fix it. Right now I'm working on an upgrade to the site which probably won't automatically fix the bug but might make it easier for me to fix.

Usually when you have an address, the map will automatically geocode the location. I'm not sure why it didn't there but it will take some manual searching to get the latitude and longitude for those shops.

In this case, the city of Dubai is in the Emirate of Dubai, and that's what it uses as a province. I've updated the stores, but I'm not sure if my google map skills have gotten the addresses correct or whether I've just got a listing for the street. If you can check that, I'd be grateful.

Perhaps if you can describe in greater detail what the issue you're encountering is I might be able to help.

The store information for Michigan is very outdated. The Ann Arbor store has been closed for years. This is a store in downtown Detroit called PenzDetroiT 333 W. Fort St. Suite 3 Detroit, MI 48226. It is formally detroit pens and camera but no longer does cameras of any kind.

There is a second store at the Somerset Collection Mall.

Thanks for this! I've contacted James at Pear Tree Pens—I know he used to keep the storefront at least by appointment. If not, I'll convert the entry to an online shop.

As far as other pen shops you know about, great! Please avail yourself of:

You don't have to be registered or logged in to add or edit a shop, though it's nice if you do create an account.

Hey, I just added The Goulet Pen Company. I don't know why I didn't think to do it before! I think I did it wrong - we should be online only. If you could fix it, that'd be super awesome.

Also, you're missing Platinum as a pen and ink brand. :)

Thanks!

Thanks for adding it. As you can see, the focus is really on the brick and mortar stores, but it's good to have the listings for online stores as well. As a result, anonymous users can only create physical shops; if you'd logged in you could have created the web shop.

I did the conversion and as a result you're now the only web shop listed with a location. Whoops! I'll get that fixed. I also added Platinum and added both pens and inks to the listing for your shop.

Looks like there's more cleanup I need to do. There are a bunch of duplicates that have been added and a few entries that have been defaced by hackers. One of the drawbacks of making it accessible is that it takes vigilance to keep the porn spam out.

Vintage Pen outlets in Southern England;-

I spotted two yesterday whilst returning from the midlands.

1. an antiques mall on Dorking High Street had a decent selection.

2. Eversley Barn Antiques, just off the M3, on the A327. Largish selection, mostly Parker & conway stewart.

For both take cash if you want a discount ;-)

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
