Deirdre
::falls over:: Those are some of the very grails of Aurora pen collecting! My favorite is definitely the Aurora Duplex Lusso Blue Lapis, though. deirdre.net "Heck we fed a thousand dollar pen to a chicken because we could." -- FarmBoy, about Pen Posse

Deirdre
You know, I never knew the Etiopia even came in green. This is the first picture I've ever seen of one in green. deirdre.net "Heck we fed a thousand dollar pen to a chicken because we could." -- FarmBoy, about Pen Posse

Deirdre
Thanks! That's a very cool link. I knew there was more than one color catalogued, but I think my mind expected them to be solid colors rather than celluloid. deirdre.net "Heck we fed a thousand dollar pen to a chicken because we could." -- FarmBoy, about Pen Posse

JPA
I understand that the Aurora Etiopia was a pen made for use by Italian soldiers in, or to commemorate, the invasion of Ethipia by Italy in 1935. People ought take time to read about this invasion, which was miserable to say the least. It is thought by some that up to a quarter of a million Ethipians lost their lives. Some historians allege that war crimes were also committed by the invading army.
