can anyone confirm?

There are conflicting argument, I need to make up my mind.

Hello.

Yellotrace, to me the following are conclusive arguments:

I inquired with Regina Martini. She has the yellow M200 for sale and told me it is identical to the Citroenpers (except for the fact that it comes without the book).

According to the description on line it is the same color: Creme gelb. The same color description is written on the box for my Citroenpers.

The only point now would be to get one, if you live in Canada. Galeria Kaufhof do not ship abroad, unfortunately.

Cheers,

Those, who bought it, say it is not identical with the Citroenpers LE yellow, as the number of chicks in the logo is reduced to one, the yellow shade is different and it is not numbered.

The first post of this thread was making me very uneasy despite those you quoted.

But enough worrying, more doing.

I have decided.

Thanks for the last push, Diplomat.

Were people still planning to get together and buy this pen from Germany for one shipment to the states? Are FPNers in Germany still willing to help individuals buy this pen? I am very interested. Do you think this pen is identical to the one listed here?:

It is identical price, but Judd's auction for the yellow m200 is $78US to $110US without shipping.

Contact piembi, I think she may be able to help you out.

Just to let you know: my local Kaufhof is out of stock now that I have bought the last three pens for some of you today.

I just wanted to post a very big and public thank you to Piembi for helping me, and apparently a bunch of other FPNers, buy this yellow Pelikan from the United States. This pen has been selling on eBay for up to $113!

Yesterday I've had enough luck to get a brand new Pelikan 620 Place de la Concorde from Galeria Kaufhof. It did cost me 130€, I think thats a good price. Galeria is awsome...

btw, the m605 is out of stock now in frankfurt, but you can still order them online for 99€...

It's in and out of stock at my local Galeria-Kaufhof for the last two years now, it seems there is a constant supply.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
