Eyedroppers from Namikis?

I'd love a Bamboo but I am pretty down on the idea of such a large pen being limited by a cartridge or converter. Has anyone been inside one enough to determine if one could seal it off well enough to make it an eyedropper? Would a falcon do it as well? While we are thinking of it, how about a Sailor 1911? Oh the potential.

Robert, I have a Namiki Bamboo (black resin). There's metallic plug inside the barrel all the way at the very bottom and the threads on the barrel and the section are metal too. I also checked both my Sailors (1911 & 1911M) and they're all plastic inside the barrel, but the threads on the section are metallic. Not sure how ink will react with the metal.

Thanks for the info on the metal. Exactly the information I needed from someone who owns one. Still, I wouldn't mind having a stubbed Bamboo for when I am feeling "dramatic."

I really like my Bamboo. It's a big pen for sure, but a great writer. The converter is a plunger type affair larger than the average piston type converters found on most new pens, so it holds a bit more ink. Here's a review I did on the Bamboo.
