Hero pens

I've read some good things (lasting forever!) about these inexpensive little pens and can't seem to find them listed at my normal on-line haunts, so I thought I'd ask the experts. What on-line address has the best selection of Hero pens? I'd like to pick one up! Any recommendations/praise for a particular model would also be welcomed. Thanks in advance :D

The Hero 100 writes excellent! (Parker 51 imitation)

isellpens.com is the cheapest I've found them at 23.99 + 6 shipping for that. Selection is not as varied as hisnibs.com or wndpens.com, but I only wanted the 100 anyway, so it was a good buy for me :)

Excellent - thanks Betty and Chupie - checking those sites now :)

I actually ordered a Hero 160. I just could not resist the design on the cap(I'm a sucker for scrolls)!!! I was fully intending to get the red 100 and then paged down a bit and saw the 160. Fingers crossed that it writes decently. I figure I couldn't really miss for $20.99 including the shipping.

Cool! Let me know if it writes nicely :) I also brought a Hero 50 with Panda design on hisnibs.com, but that one doesn't write as nicely as the Hero 100, so I'm wondering about their other models besides 100, which I know is a great pen!

I am a hero freak, and have found www.waimar.com to have the best selection at the lowest prices. Owner is very friendly, shipping is like lightning (from China, no less!). Love this site. Have spent way too much there this year alone!

I like the look of the 100's and at the price you just can't go wrong! I've ordered one from isellpens, will be happy to give you some feedback once I get the pen.

Can someone tell me the differences between the Hero 100 and the Hero 329?

They are basically the same look, but quality wise, it's different. The 100 is obviously made with better materials. The cap is silver & heavier, while the 329 I got was gold color and very very light. You can feel the difference, but look wise, it's the same except for cap color

The Hero 329 also has a steel nib, while the Hero 100 has a 14K gold nib.

In case you are interested, the is an article at here comparing the Hero 100 and the Parker 51. Reviews of both the Hero 100 and Hero 329 can be found here.

I have never used the 329, but the Hero 100 I got from isellpens writes very well.

Kelly, make sure you let us know how you like your new pen.

Will do! :) I'm unsure if it's going to make her before the weekend though so it might not be until mid-late next week.
