Clear 'em out pens on the Bay

So here's a bunch of stuff that I've listed over the past few months that went unclaimed. I'm going with the hope that quantity creates interest (along with a low starting bid and no reserve). Take this opportunity to do all your fountain-pen-friend Christmas shopping with a single purchase!

Some Pens on the 'bay

Or just bid a buck or two to give me some play.....

I know that if I were persistent... if I really stuck to it... if I split these up and pushed the issue I'd probably make a lot more money than doing it this way. But they all fit into ONE priority mail flat rate box (nirvana!) and I'm trying to unclutter here.

By the way, props go out to all you guys that do this ebay selling thing on a regular basis - seemed like half my evening was devoted to getting this stupid listing up (which, I'm sure, will be covered by the $30 or $40 dollars I make from selling these pens). I'm sure it gets easier as you do it more often, but I'm not going to give it the chance.

I would have loved that a few days ago when I listed 4 of them here.

See that, I take a break and this happens. I really must have not been looking... Good luck, I'm sure you'll bring in a mint on that setup!

Here's a way to do a value-added bump: This may not make the Ebay folks all that happy and if its some sorta egregious violation I'll withdraw it, but if anyone from FPN wins this auction, I'll throw in a free gift - A visconti travelling inkpot (old style).

Just mention your affiliation with FPN at checkout and I'll toss it into the box.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
