I´d really like to see a review of Akkerman No17 Staten Generaal Rood.

I have a feeling that it will look like JHerbin Rouge Bourgogne or Kaweco Ruby Red, but I secretly hope it will be more like Pelikan Edelstein Turmaline.

I think they are just not in the index yet.

I'll selfishly link mine, but there are some others as well!

Thanks so much for the link. That's a fantastic review!!!

I guess I should have done more searching.

I'd really like to see some reviews of J. Herbin 1670 Emerald de Chivor.

Every 1670 ink except that one has been covered on FPN.

Thanks!

I have reviewed this ink Here

Is it not in the index?

De Atrementis Charles Dickens

Conway Stewart Tavy

I have a sample of De A Charles Dickens that I could review, but sadly I don't have any Conway Stewart Tavy and I live in the UK, so I guess that cuts me out of a sample from the US.

The index hasn't been updated in quite a while.

But I guess it's quite a lot of work to update it, so I can understand...

Could someone please do a side-by-side comparison of Noodler's Green Marine and Noodler's Green? The two inks seem very similar to my eye and having a side-by-side could narrow down a choice...

Noodler's General of the Armies, the green ink that changes to blue when it dries.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Has anyone reviewed the new Cross violet?

Or the new Cross blue-black?

I've only seen a swab of these but I'd like to know more about their properties, water resistance, etc.

I'll get the General of the Armies in the next couple of days. I have an original Dromgoole's bottle.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Comparative review of the diamine blue range would be nice!

I've reviewed many of the Diamine blue inks, so if you're looking for a particular blue I'm sure they will be in the index. I usually compare them with other Diamine Blues when I write my reviews. Which do you want to see in particular?

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
