Huh? Everybody knows a gold nail is way more betterer that a steel nail, because steel is nailisher. Then there's Palladium nails. 

 

And Titanium, but them's  bouncey with gentle feedback, so we'll leave those out.

Add lightness and simplicate.

Those are beautiful pens...if chunky.

I'm a fan of the 'cracked ice' style and I'm reminded of my Edison Beaumont in 'Bedrock' resin.

Years back, my wife gave me a Bexley Poseidon for Christmas.  I don't use it as much as I should as it has a broad nib and I'm more into fine nibs.  But it is a very good writer.  It works especially well with shimmer inks.  If they were still made in Ohio, I'd gladly buy another.  It is a bronze sands, and quite beautiful.  (guess I'll ink it up next with some Diamine Firefly)
