Hi!! You can call me Eden (he/him or they/them is fine.) 

 

I'm a stationery collector and has recently gone in a rabbit hole about fountain pens and dip pens. Currently I'm getting a rather inexpensive fountain pen while I save up for something else! With what is available for me at the moment, I am looking at either TSWBI or Sailor fountain pens. Yes I am aware that the TSWBI Eco is regarded as a good beginner pen (or at least based off what I've seen), it's just the problem that it is expensive. 

 

I'm also an artist! I love using my dip pen to draw and has recently found it again. Looking forward to using it more! Maybe I'll post some I'm proud of here. 

 

ps. I am very shy, especially since I'm rather new to the hobby. I'll probably end up lurking more than interacting.

Welcome to FPN, I’m also an amateur artist. What is your medium of choice I alternate between Pastel Pencils, coloured Pencils and watercolours.

      @Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film.       Kodachrome 25 was the most accurate film for clinical photography and was used by dermatologists everywhere. I got magnificent results with a Nikon F2 and a MicroNikkor 60 mm lens, using a manually calibrated small flash on a bracket. I wish there were a filter called "Kodachrome 25 color balance" on my iPhone camera.
