Yes!  Just bought one.  The Vipers are great little pens - tough but write very well.  And they look cool, like Parker 51s in snake skin.

Well that did it!  I had the black one and I was so happy.  Got it on a Christmas discount and it was the last one, of course!  Shortly after that, the brown one comes out and, I realize, the black pen needs company.  So far I have been toughing it out.  Until now.  I guess I'm glad for the lead.  Guess who's getting a new brown pen?

Yes, I already bought the brown version and then acquired the blue one because of the brown's excellent performance.  I guess now I will have the complete set...

 The $60 sale ended last night, but that’s still $21 less than their regular price. I bought mine last month for $96, although I had a coupon code, so it was less.

I didn't realize that the clock was ticking on the sale but I was glad that it does pay off to browse through the Forum every once in a while.  I did snag one of the brown pens even though that blue is truly nice to look at.   The point I want to make is that I have benefitted greatly by the occasional mention of sales and bargains that members bring to the Forum.  I have a ridiculous number of pens but I always have room for a bargain or something I could use as a gift for later.  I appreciate knowing about these sales.  Like a lot of folks, I prowl around a lot of websites and retailers with no particular objective in mind.  That's not the best way to shop and is bad on the budget.  That's where these little shout outs come in handy.

  I will keep that in mind and post the ones that I get notifications for. You never know what pen is someone’s grail, or a model that they’ve been curious about.
