My MB 146 with a metal overlay has a cracked barrel and section. I was wondering how to repair it? More specifically how to remove the metal overlay.

Best recourse is to send it off to MB for repair. Even if you manage to remove the overlay, where will you find the replacement innards?

Thanks. I have sent it to My Jewelry Repair. I was curious about this since I have heard that they send some editions to Hamburg for repair. My pen has a cracked barrel and I wanted to know if they would be able to fix it or would have to send it for repair.
