Tiny Aikin Lambert clutch pencil

Recommended Posts

Isn’t it cute?
Here you see a sterling silver Aikin Lambert clutch pencil. If you turn the crown the lead drops out. Nothing fancy here. Just plain, simple, and elegant.

And… it is sooo tiny.
Only 4 1/4 in. long by 4/16 in. wide.

Aikin Lambert was absorbed by Waterman in 1907, so this pencil is presumably earlier than that.

Not the most comfortable pencil to write with, and so easy to lose. It’s a wonder it has survived all these years.

That is nice, I like those myself. Now all you need a nice victorian skirt and the little hand bag.
