Are Nakaya nibs friction fit or screw in?

All of mine have been friction fit. There can be a lot of variability in how tight or loose the nib and feed are within the section.

I have seen mr Yoshida taking a pen of mine apart (ie, remove nib and feed) and assemble it again. It is friction fit, but the feed was heated with steam before putting it back in. (This was at the Nakaya pen meet at Sumatra Fountainpen Gallery)

I had a broken nib so I ordered a new one and it went into place with no problem.
