Does anyone know anything about this pen?

I think it is an early nakaya writer portable type with the 'NAKATA' engraving. It has the option of a clip and cap top that is no longer available.

I contacted Nakaya. They said that they do produce it, but they can't give me detailed information because it's a model that they don't have anymore.

If you have any information, please let me know.

I can see why it caught your attention، beautiful piece, early Nakaya models have a special quiet charm, that engraving and clip detail make it feel timeless thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed seeing this one.

Not every pen deserves ink — some stay silent, like quiet truths

Yes, I also like the quiet charm of this pen. However, I am curious about other Nakayas from around the same time and would like to see them, so it would be great if I had the chance.

I would consult John Mottishaw, now at PacificPenworks.com. He was the American distributor for Nakaya for many years.
