MAY PEN CLUB MEETING Saturday, 5/10/25 1-3:30 pm

Remember we are meeting in our new location
Trinity Church of Austin
4001 Speedway Austin, TX 78751

Important location notes:
  • A small road closure on Speedway, but the parking lot will still be accessible from the south.
  • We will be meeting in the Music Room this week, sadly there is a funeral scheduled in our usual room. Whoever meets you at the door will walk you to the Music room.

Agenda:
  • Welcome new members
  • Pen Share Please limit your share to 1-2 pens so we don’t go over time
  • Club News : Board Update, Pelikan Hub 2025, Pens for Kids overview.
  • Final Board Nominations & Voting Information: Please let us know if you are interested in supporting the club with your time as a board member. We will discuss the online voting process.
  • Paper Buffet: Sammi is bringing at least a dozen papers to test and discuss. Bring your favorite pen for testing and maybe go home with a new favorite brand of journal!
  • Free Time: After every meeting a few die hard pen enthusiasts hang out in small groups to keep discussing pens or to help new members with questions. Feel free to hang around until the lights go out around 4 pm.
Please Note: The Board will be meeting in the room prior to the pen club meeting. If you arrive early, please go ahead and sign-in and take a seat.

Sell, Trade, Donate:
If you have any items you would like to sell, trade, or give away, please arrive about 10-15 minutes early with your items and a note card with your name on it. We will place them on our Bazar Shelve/Table.

Directions:
Trinity Church of Austin , Community Hall,
4001 Speedway Austin, TX 78751

The new meeting location is in central Austin in the Hyde Park neighborhood For reference it is about 1.5 miles from the Paper Place on N. Lamar. There is a parking lot located at the corner of Speedway and 40th Street across the street from the church. To enter, walk through the unlocked gate, then the walkway goes directly to the door. The doors must remain locked; there will be a doorbell to ring.
