Desktop Vacuum

Recommended Posts

I suppose this is a mini-review...  Last November, I got myself a mini desktop vacuum to pick up eraser dust:

Yes, it's silly and a kitty, and I like that fact. :D There's also a black and white one.  I got mine at Amazon for $13.99 (looks like it's gone up by a dollar).  There are many "brands" (as much as a Chinese thing has a brand) and designs, though I don't know if they're all identical.

This thing is fantastic at picking up eraser dust, crumbs, and shreds of paper. It does so-so with cat hair (since cat hair likes to grab hold of things and cling for dear life, I don't consider this a fault).  Best part is that the rechargeable battery lasts for forever!  I've been using it daily (or almost) since November, and to my memory, I've charged it once after the initial charge.  The only negative is that it's a micro USB port rather than USB-C.  I consider it well worth the price tag.

Hope that helps anyone looking for an inexpensive way to clean up eraser dust or similar dry crumb-like stuff from their desk! :)

I like that and I’ll rush to buy one, it might go higher in price due to the tariffs. 😊🙏

:D Hope you like it!

I have to admit, when I first read the title, I thought it might be about that feeling you get when you look at a blank journal page and cannot find the inspiration.

Cute toy, might tick off a gift need for someone, thanks!

:D  Still going strong, used every day.  I'm impressed.  Hopefully it doesn't die after a year or two like some products do.

If you mean the non-electric kind, don't bother - the wheels pick up the eraser dust and then you have to clean the wheels - it's fun as a toy, annoying as a vacuum.  (If they have an electric one like this guy, I'll have to go looking. :) )

I think it was the non electric one. They might have a couple of different kinds, but I don’t know if any are electric.

I have this one:

Cute, toy-like, fun for play, but when you have a boatload of eraser dust to pick up, it's just annoying. :)

Yes! No idea how it compares to the version I have, but those little sweeping brooms are fabulous. :D
