Heiko Karat fountain pen set; who has detaild info?

Hello,

Here I am with a rare fountain pen (set) again: this time a Heiko Karat pen set, fountain pen, ballpoint pen, ink converter and 2 ink cartridges in a yellow genuine leather case, see the pictures. This is a product from former East-Germany, but this is a luxurious Heiko! The barrel is hexagonal, the nib is probably F. It is an International ink cartridge fountain pen, probably made between 1978 and 1990.

I am looking for detailed information about this fountain pen (set) and documentation. An extensive search on the Internet did not reveal anything relevant, nor did DeepSeek. Would love to receive further info from you,

Heiko was eventually purchased by Schneider, and in some ways the Schneiders are the descendants of the brand's pens. Generally speaking, the quality should be decent. The nib of the pen you have is tipped.

Stolen: Aurora Optima Demonstrator Red ends Medium nib. Serial number 1216 and Aurora 98 Cartridge/Converter Black bark finish (Archivi Storici) with gold cap. Reward if found. Please contact me if you have seen these pens.

Please send vial orders and other messages to fpninkvials funny-round-mark-thing gmail strange-mark-thing com. My shop is open once again if you need help with your pen.

@JWG J Nice looking pen!

I found a Heiko piston filler about a year ago at an estate sale.  Haven't been able to find a lot of information about it or the Singwitz pen (also a piston filler) picked up at the same sale, other than that Heiko was an East German brand.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."
