Is this Considered Sprung? Parker Duofold

Hey guys! I have a Duofold that's quite new and in the past few weeks it has refused to write a few times. Sometimes ink just stops reaching the tip, at which point looking from the side of the nib there's a small gap of air between it and the feed. Usually there's ink there so there's no visible gap. I can also see through the gap of the tines when there isn't any ink, but the tines and gap look fine.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks!

does the slit gap get significantly narrower as it approaches the tip? It should. If not then it has to be corrected.

The gap between the nib and feed as shown, does it extend all the way back beyond the nib breather hole? a piece of paper slid between the nib and feed of the dry pen will give you the answer.
