@acy Greetings from a fellow Pittsburgher (although an import from the greater NYC area, so I had to learn my way around -- I know my way around more parts of the city than some of the native do!) and also learn to "bleed black and gold").    (Currently my husband is watching the recording we made earlier of the Steelers-Broncos NFL game... currently about to the 2 minute warning left in the 4th quarter).

Wish you had posted a few days earlier -- you just missed the September SCN meeting (generally the 2nd Thursday of the month, and we've been meeting at the Atrium in Bakery Square, 5:30-8:30 PM).

I generally suggest that new people to FPN click on the "New Content" button when they log in (you can adjust how much/often it refreshes.  And to check out the pinned Index to the Ink Reviews Forum -- even though a lot of old images were lost in the Great Photobucket Hijack a few years ago.  But I also warn them they have found their way around a band of enablers, who will happily help them spend their discretionary budgets on pens, ink, paper, desk accessories, repair tools, pen shows and ephemera.

Have fun here, and don't be afraid to ask questions -- I'm constantly amazed by the amount of knowledge to be found here (and not just pen related at that) -- and humbled by the generosity of the members here in the sharing of that knowlege.

So, what pens/inks are you currently using?  Enquiring minds want to know!
