Gold plate or gold filled of a Sheaffer Self Filling #2

I'm assuming since there is no indication on the pen to the contrary that this pen is gold plate, although assuming that it is, it's of excellent quality and thickness. Nevertheless, I wanted to get some of your opinions or comments as I've seen a fair number of pictures of similar little pens classified as gold filled without being able to discern the confirming stamps.

Any elucidation is appreciated!

I was hoping that was the case. Thank you very much for replying, it's much appreciated.

This is a standard rolled gold model, thicker than gold plate though they will show wear over time.

Is that then mutatis mutandis of lesser value than gold filled?

Roger,

I see your post in which you refer to some solid gold Sheaffers of the era, with a link to a photograph that I cannot open, on my phone via an email alert, but I don't find it here. Any idea as to what's going on?

In any case, thank you very much for taking the time to reply in detail!
