The joy of owning my first Parker Centennial fountain pen

I own 3 Parker Duofold International, my favorite one with a extra broad nib. However I have always wanted a Centennial with at least a broad or BB nib. For years I felt that the Centennial nibs were larger and more generous nibs, but often some experts dismissed my theory.  Having bought a pre- owned Centennial with a broad nib I was delighted to find it was a wet pen and the broad nib was more than equal to the BB nib on the International.

Very happy, and rather pleased to have my opinion proved right.

Welcome to the club!  My blue marble Centennial has been a favorite for over 30 years. I would love to see a writing sample of both your B Centennial and the BB International.

Parker Duofold Centennial are very good pens and many variations in colour, shape and trim have been offered. The price had been increasing and putting together the whole collection was not easy.

Congrats. Bought my first one a few weeks back and am glad I did. Sounds like you are too.
