Ok so this is embarrassing. Now that there is a Pelikan Hub in Puerto Rico there is no way that I can register to participate. I didn't register originally because I (erroneously) thought there couldn't be another 6 Pelikan lovers on the island, as I have never met one. 
 

Is there anything I can do to participate? Or should I just sit outside and 😢 my heart out?

I wonder if the Huntsville in US is Texas or Alabama? We ended up not registering with all that was going on with my wife’s mom etc. we didn’t have any idea what your schedules would be. She’s actually in Canada for 2 weeks right now. Hopefully next year is a little more normal.

Reach out to the hubmaster if you have the details, they should be able to accommodate you but without the promotional items reserved for the registered participants. Or at least, that is what I have done as a hubmaster. :)


If you can’t find out the info about the Puerto Rico hubmaster, let me know, I could ask in the FB-group for the 2024 hubmasters.

Thank you so much! I don't have any information on who is the hubmaster as the Pelikan hub page does not provide that information. It just informs that the event will take place in San Juan (capital) but not much else.

Always have a good time at the Pittsburgh Hubs.  We've gotten the confirmation on the site from the Hubmaster, and it's the same place as last year, and again we'll be doing a potluck (we're getting a classroom at the University of Pittsburgh's main campus in Oakland that has a break room/lounge area next to it (with a fridge and a sink and IIRC an oven and a microwave).

Talk about being a bit late...and Heidelberg is on the list...

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.

Some hub masters extend the offer for more to come. It’s the swag bag you’ll miss out on. Otherwise, it’s worth it to go and meet fellow pen people.

I imagine I'll take the Strassenbahn/trolley, a 12-15 minute ride. 8 minute walk to the stop....

Or the wife could let me off at the head of Plock Strasse, in Knoblauch pen and stationary company  is the logical place to have a Hub, and 100m from there.
