Sheaffer circa 1990s ID

Hello FPN,

Old lurker, but new poster here.

I was digging around my drawers and found this Sheaffer fountain pen in my drawer which I remember getting in the 1990s, quite sure from a newsagent in Australia and have a very, very vague recollection that it was branded or marketed something to the effect of 'My First Fountain Pen' (though it was not actually my first). It came with Skrip cartridges.

Couldn't find any active image links here that might tell me more, and the only thing I can find on it on Google is this ebay listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/134819428873 for a School Fountain Pen where it has Model No. PD3 Fountain Pen on the barrel. Mine does not have any markings other than Sheaffer on the clip.

Does anyone happen to know anything more about it?

Followup question, as the other school pens I've spotted around here are older, might I be fortunate enough to be able to use a converter with this, or will I have to stick with old cartridge refills? I have a plunger-style converter from a Sheaffer calligraphy set of approximately the same vintage but it is too loose.

Thanks and hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

We have a lot of that model (ballpoint/rollerball version) with Hertz advertising.

It looks like the Delta Grip fountain pen in this eBay listing, except the section is different.

The one in the eBay listing looks like it takes the standard school pen nib units.

This one, however, looks closer to your pen and it's got a Sheaffer Delta Grip imprint on the barrel, so I think that is a confirmation.

Oh darn, thank you @terim for responding. I didn't receive notifications on updates to this thread and promptly forgot about it until I decided to try looking for the pen again and found my own post. :(

This is helpful though. Thank you! :)
