Robert Oster True Blue

Recommended Posts

A quick test of this ink which arrived a week ago. Well behaved ink with my Pilot Prera and medium nib. Flows freely and dries in reasonable time on Crown Mill paper. As well writes nicely on my Moleskine diary, no feathering.

A rich Royal Blue, photo taken in strong sunlight. Probably not the best of shots. No water proofness tests done as yet.

I'm always amazed by the range of colors that are "blue" -- especially in the Robert Oster lineup of inks with their myriad nuances.

That they do!  I only have a small fraction of them.  And that's not even counting the one that is an exclusive for Cult Pens -- Cult Blue -- which I haven't tried yet, but which looked to be a deep blue violet color.

I have to restrain myself. And this one here is another nice one. I usually have to get one of my pens out loaded with blue ink, write with it, and remind myself that I already have some excellent blues that I love. That way I stave off more purchases....for a while, anyway.

But as I say, delay is another form of saving!
