After the dark colours of the last 2 years, now the Rose issue. Not a ugly colour neither something to rush after. Thank you for the information.

It is not my usual color but I like it.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Nice timing!  I just logged on to start a thread to see if anyone had heard anything about new Studio colors and saw this.  I have a brushed Studio but I like the balance and extra weight of the standard Studio better.  I've been holding off buying one because I wasn't thrilled with the past few color releases.  I would describe them as somber and mostly cool (blues and brown).  I was hoping for something more warm and fun.  Not sure how excited I can get about this rose pink.  I may have to suck it up and buy the Imperial Blue.  If anyone has a purple or red one they want to part with, please let me know!

 

Slightly disappointed.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
