Falcon Connection?

Checklist

Recommended Posts

To my eye, the Parker Falcon nib bears a strong resemblance the the F-16 Fighting Falcon.  Considering that the latter had just entered production when Parker released its Falcon, this may not be a coincidence, at least in the naming.  Does anyone know for sure whether the Parker 50 was named after the F-16?

Who wore it better?

It's an interesting idea - although I think the nose of the F16 looks more like a mechanical pencil, or even a ballpoint?

It's the way the nose overhangs the engine inlet for me.  Maybe it's just me seeing what I know.

Reminds me of a Great White - da-dump, da-dump.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.
