My wife and I will be traveling in Italy for two weeks this summer, and we are looking for pen shop recommendations!

We will be in Milan for 4 days, Turin for 5 days, and Florence for 5 days.  Any tips for cool or must-see brand boutiques, vintage pen shops, stationary stores, flea markets where vintage pens might be found, etc. would be most welcome.

I had a great time shopping at La Stilografica Milano during my visit there in 2019.  I saw some pens and inks not common in the USA, specifically the  Parafernalia brand, and the sales staff were very helpful and accommodating of my broken Italian.  I bought a Parafernalia Divina and some ink there.  I would have bought more of their inks but had nightmares of bottles breaking in my luggage on my return flight.

And though it's not on your itinerary, I also had a positive experience at Novelli in Rome a week ago.  I bought a Leonardo pen from them and received the best service.

I've only been to Italy once and it was before I was interested in fountain pens. Which is too bad because we ended up with an extra day in Rome that would have been perfect for pen shopping. I bought a painting instead.

Good hunting!
