I've not contributed in a while...during which time I've collected some fantastic pens.

The problem is, that I'm just not writing anymore. All of my work calls for digital (cloud based) documentation. So I'm thinking of thinning the herd! How can I go about selling my pens?

My name is Andrew and I live in Canada. I used to write a lot for my work as a headhunter but everything has moved online and I'm just not using my pens as much. So someone may as well!

Welcome to FPN, Andrew!  Can't really help you with selling your pens, but best wishes doing so.  Alternately, there are a lot of threads (here and elsewhere) about how to use your pens more.  (I'm thinking of compiling them into a book!)

I hope you decide not to give up on your pens - there are always ways to incorporate them into daily life.

Oh I don't want to give up on all  of therm. But...I defo don't need 2 Lamy 2000's...or 2 Platinum 3776 Celluloids...or 3 Sailor 1911's...

(bleep) pandemic. I had nothing better to do.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy.       I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
