How Do From East Texas

Hello all, I'm in Texas and my names Ron and I'm a retired truck driver. Ive always been good with my hands fixing and making things and about 10 years or more ago I decided to make smoking pipes

see'en I smoked them and I enjoyed the art work. Recently, about 2-1/2 months ago I quit smoking and pipe making. Being a collector most my life of things from the past I've always liked the old fountain pens and their art work but, never collected them. But the interest in making them intrigues me. Why fountain pens, because they have a long history that means something to me and ballpoints, well they just don't grab me.

Hope to meet some fine people here that enjoy the same things as I do and maybe even pick up a tip or two about how to make fountain pens.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
