Repair for a damaged Pilot Capless UK

In the thread about the Majohn A1 @Karmachanic suggested I might send my damaged Pilot Capless pen back to Pilot for repair. It had lost its hood and clip in a hit and run. That seemed a good idea so I filled in the Japanese repair request form Karmachanic linked me to and sent it off. Within the week I had an email from Pilot UK inviting me to send them the pen so they could quote me a price for the repair. This I did and shortly afterwards received a quote for just under £45 including VAT to replace the hood and clip. That was a bit over budget when I already have a genuine Pilot and an A1, so I declined. They promptly returned to pen to me.

Although I didn't go for the repair in the end, I have to commend Pilot for their very efficient and prompt service. And since any thread is better with pictures, here's a photo of the casualty.
