Cousin Avec?

 

I'm not sure what happened . . . I thought I ordered what I wanted (A5) but it was a Japanese site and I don't read Japanese and . . . Voila, I got the wrong size.  I didn't want to mess around with returns shipping, et c and just ordered what a actually wanted from a stateside seller.

 

But now I have an A6 Hobonichi Cousin Avec that I imagine someone in the world would want.  

 

It would be fun to make a trade. I don't really have anything in mind, though.

 

I like pens and nibs and paper and pretty letter-writing paper and postcards and ink and exotic/foreign/not-at-my-local-US-grocery-store tea/coffee, and lots of other things not mentioned. You could swap with one thing or several.

 

If I recall correctly, the planner was about $25 and came with a multi-color pen and a spoon.  Yes, a spoon. Something about a not scary bear and his little spoon.  I don't remember. I wasn't interested and didn't pay attention. 

 

Anyone interested in that swap?

 

I love the planner . . . love it! And have used it for years. They just sent the A6 instead of the A5.

 

I'm not home but can send a picture when I get there.  Sunday-ish.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
