Quick Aurora Hastil question

Does anyone happen to know whether the Aurora Hastil takes conventional Aurora cartridges and converters? I’ve inherited one and it seems to have a different, narrower nipple at the back of the feed (closer to standard international) than my Aurora 98 which does take the normal cartridges.

It takes slim aurora converter ( a little hard to find, It is descontinued, I think) or slim deluxe Parker converter..the cartridge is the slim or classic one,Aurora or Parker brand. If I am not wrong the nipple is the same in Hastil line, the body in Hastil Converter is slim compares with the more recently aurora converter in production 🤔

The small Parker converter is much easier to find and much cheaper than the correct Aurora.  I've used it with success.

Many thanks, both, and apologies for the delayed follow-up. I’ve found an Aurora cartridge and am awaiting a trim-trak converter which I believe is the right one for this model. The cartridge fits in the barrel no problem but it doesn’t seat very well - much less well than with my 98. As I said in the first post, the nipple looks different on the two pens. Is it possible something has sheared off my Hastil (on the left in the photo, with the 98 on the right) or is this how it supposed to look?

I read elsewhere when researching whether to by a Ferrari that early models of the Hastil had a problem with wear on the nipple so that the cartridge then relied on pressure from the barrel to keep it firmly seated; this was redesigned at some point so later production pens don't have this problem. The Hastil appeared in 1969 and Ferrari came out in 1987 so the one I've ordered should be ok as it probably didn't take them 18 years to fix the issue.

 

The Trik-trak is the correct converter but you can also use the later "streamlined" Parker squeeze converter and the plastic slide converter, according to what I read.
