I am really reconsidering the Lamy Safari

A quick check confirms that the AL-Star is *significantly* heavier than the Safari - 22g vs 17g 😁.  Which of course means they're both (almost) absurdly light.  Maybe it's just my imagination, but the AL-Stars feel a *tiny* bit more substantial to me - but I tend to favour Safaris because of their cheaper price and added durability.
