SF Show is happening at the same place, and (almost) the same time it always happens:

Hotel Pullman San Francisco Bay (See sfpenshow.com for more info)
August 27-29th, 2021

Hotel rate is $129 a night, and you must call the hotel (650-598-9000) to make a reservation.

I'd like to know when the pre-registration for all-access passes will start. I hope it will be announced here.

Odin is ready to take all access pass registration requests! To reserve yours, email sfpenshow@gmail.com with:
Number of passes
Name(s) for each pass
E-mail for a Paypal invoice.

All access passes are $60 each and provide early entry at 8am on all three days of the show.

There is no early registration for general admission. As always, you'll find more info on our website at sfpenshow.com.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy.       I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
