Quick, Lighthearted PIF

Sailor Kenshin

Recommended Posts

Hurry!  Offer ends soon!

There's a packet of Monteverde Neon Orange ink carts with one missing.  These fit Lamy Safari and Lamy Nexx.  They really do glow under black light for all your psychedelic needs!

Krishna ink bottles:

Myrtle, a burgundy pink with shimmer on the bottom.  Shake shake shake and get your shimmer and exercise routine all in one!

Empty.  Is it brown? Gray?  Black?  Your guess is as good as mine, but it is SATURATED, for all your really elusive deep dark color expressions.

Shamrock, an intense saturated shamrocky green.  Just in time for next year's St. Patrick's Day!

Plus, if you act now, a special surprise will be included!

Reply here to be in the running.  Shipping is free, but substantial restrictions apply....as in CONUS only.  Good luck!  Hey...there's a shamrock!  🍀

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

If it's a random name generation, I'd be interested in the bottles. If not, Timeline swell work :) Quick on the draw :P

The bottles of ink would go well with my new (old) lettering pens i've got in the mail.

Count me in for a bottle of empty ink! Or is it a bottle empty of ink? Whatever it is, count me in!

Big thanks to Sailor for doing this - wish I could participate, but I'm not even *close* to being on Con-US...

So here's to sharing the bounty and enriching
the community - good on ya, laddie! I'll buy ya a pint at the pub.

Thank you Sailor Kenshin, received the PIF in today's mail. The coffee flavored candy was a very nice addition.

BUT... our warehouses are still overflowing.  Here is a Bonus Round of some Nemosine Singularity pens and one Jinhao Shak with EF teeth, I mean, nib.  And some random ink samples.

The Shark is perfect for when you want to show your bold, colorful marauder side.

The Nemos sport various nibs, including stub ( being cleaned as photo was taken but yes they have their sections).   They are comfortable and understated for all your comfortable and understated pen needs.  Caution: May Need Smoothing!  Each comes with converter.

MORE PEOPLE CAN ENTER.

Anyone who previously posted here but was a non-winners will be considered an entry, and subjected to the Eeny Meeny Inator.   CONUS only (sorry, Yazeh!).  One person takes all.  Operators are standing by!

I’d love to be in the running!

I got two neighbors hooked on FPs over the past 24 hours, when I let them play with my pens and I passed along a few. Such fun to see them geek out and totally get into it!! If the package makes its way to our road, I’d tweak any nibs that need tweaking, keep one Nemosine (which has been on my wish list), play with inks a bit, and pay forward (in-person) the bulk of the package. One of the neighbors is from Pittsburgh, so would be very into the Nemosine backstory, too.

I haven't won anything in a long time.

Please put my name in if you would.

Good luck to all.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
