Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask, has anyone tried ordering here (mitaclub) via email? My friend ordered for herself and after she paid via paypal she hasn't received any update for 4 days now. She tried emailing again but no reply. We read somewhere though that it usually takes time so she's not in a rush. She just wants to know she hasn't been scammed =).

I purchased a bottle of ink from them last year. My understanding is that"Mitaclub" is actually a single small shop that caters to the Japanese market, and isn't set up for international business. I wouldn't be surprised if there are no English speakers there. Be patient, your order will arrive.

Add lightness and simplicate.

Oh thank you! Yea she gave them our friend's address in Japan to make things easier. It was just weird that they were replying when she was finalizing her orders then stopped after she paid. Anyway, thank you I'll let her know.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
