Ultrasound--Conklin

Can I use my ultrasound cleaner with a Conklin Crescent Filler?  The "crescent" is acting a bit sticky.  I use Waterman inks in this pen.

Thanks.

Hello

If it is a hard rubber pen I would say no. Now days it is hard to say without a picture because they made a new one and it isn’t hard rubber. I would say if it is the crescent you need a new sac but that is just a guess now t knowing anything else.

Agree with Mark both not to clean with ultrasonic and to replace the sac.  BTW these vintage Conklins have fantastic nibs.

Probably best not to soak any complete pen in an ultrasonic cleaner.

As mentioned above, a complete answer depends upon which Conklin Crescent it happens to be (e.g., vintage hard rubber or modern acrylic?).  Have you already disassembled it?  & etc.
