KWZ inks are wet, from what I've heard.....

I have tried one KWZ iron gall ink, IG Violet #3, and found it very wet--beautiful on high quality paper but impractical on lesser paper.  In fact, the reason I was invited to try it was that the colleague who bought it for himself found it useless, on account of bleed-through, in the notebooks our employer stocked.  In a Japanese extra fine and on Tomoe River or a Rhodia dot pad, it was a pleasure to use.

The ink was also highly saturated and took an amusingly long time to flush.  I would not use it in a vintage pen.
