Ambitious nibs contact info and some Info required on creating a Group buy for Ambitious Nibs?

Just testing the waters here. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Ambitious Nibs Company.

I sent an email to all these 3 emails regarding getting rates and minimum quantity required by them, but I've received no response as of yet - info@ambitiousindia.com, abhishekcharla@ambitiousindia.com and atulcharla@ambitiousindia.com

Since it's difficult to get their nibs in small quantities I wanted to take the initiative to create a group buy and stock up on their nibs this January since I have a little time.

Can any fellow fpn members provide some insights on how to go about this or get in touch with them.

I sent a message to abhishekcharla@ambitiousindia.com asking if Ambitious makes gold nibs. He replied promptly and promised to send me pictures of 14k and 18k nibs. There has been no reply since then nor were any pictures sent back.

If somebody is willing to set up a group buy for their 40 mm nibs then I will join in.

I am interested in the Group buy. I would like to see what nib fittings as well as widths are on offer.

I would like to see what Ambitious has to offer. I would expect that information has to be put up for members to consider.

Click on the link page I posted above.

I like the dual tone in Medium in the 28x6mm India #8 size, if there would be a choice as well as the 35x6mm. The dual tone I feel complements the acrylic & ebonite colours of my squad of Wality pens. I have a few Click pens that use the 35mm nib size that are conventional c/c filling.

Thanks for the response from fellow members.

I'm still in process of getting some info from them regarding the availability and the pricing info for the nib widths. There's a small delay due to some unforeseen events.

I'l update this thread as soon as I get the information.

That'd be interesting to see before making a commitment. Thank you so very much for the effort put into this.

If you are to be ephemeral, leave a good scent.

When I asked after nibs I was told minimum of 100 nibs each type, which is what one box holds.

Will be interesting to see what sizes and tip types are the most asked about.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
