No, you can buy them. I bought mine recently and received the package 3 days ago, a lovely ink too and very safe.

I bought from Krishna site directly, its pre-order stage way, register and once arrived in stock the mail will be prompted and one can buy directly from them.

Ah. Possibility of partnership with the original design holder was mentioned on that notice so good to see an equitable solution was reached!

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..
