Here is another variant of the C/C models from Airmail. This is a flat top model. The box still says 71JB. Airmail Price list mentions a model called 21 DUO and no cartridge version of the 71JB. So there is still some confusion. https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/forum/topic/361820-airmailwality-models-ready-reckoner/

Anyway I hope you enjoy these pics:

Purchased a few more of these models in colors that I did not have. The pens arrived in a simple pouch with a plastic eye dropper and Schmidt converter. No box no fancy eye dropper but same price. There are nib point options now. I chose B.

Beautiful pens. The nib appears to be of higher quality compared to most of their models.

I have only one wality - 69t - and I like it. Now I only find myself buying ebonite pens, preferably large sized ones, otherwise wality is great value for money.

Thanks. Yes. The nibs on these models are smooth and directly usable for me especially after the B nib option.

Thx, nice pens.

Can you suggest a source where this pen can be purchased online.?

No online sources at the moment as far as I know. Some dealers are selling these if you make contact through WhatsApp etc.

Hello @hari317 where can I buy this particular airmail model? I was looking into buying an airmail pen and now they are coming up with converter pens and I think this would be the perfect pen to buy. Can you send me the contact info of the dealers who are selling this particular model? Thanks.

Thank you for sharing pictures of those lovely Airmail offerings.

When your pictures appear in the heading of the forum, they are always recognizable because of the lovely setup and the unique writing instruments.

Is it fair for an intelligent and family oriented mammal to be separated from his/her family and spend his/her life starved in a concrete jail?

It is a Medium width nib, very smooth and a very nice, wet writer. Not a JoWo nor a Bock, the profile is different, the feeder and housing is totally different. Yes the nib is a no 6(35mm).

The nib unit is a Kanwrite nib unit and is the same as the desire, So availability of spare units won't be an issue. I also feel like the nib is also by kanwrite as the nib has very similar scrollmarks and the feel of the nib is similar as well

I was successful in interchanging the nib units and they go in just like the stock units did, Also the nibs look strikingly similar if not identical if you take out the kanwrite stamping from the desire's nib

So availability of spare nib units won't be an issue, and it will be relatively inexpensive to fix, if the nib gets damaged

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
