Conid Bulkfiller Regular In 2020 (Video Overview)

Hey guys! After almost a year of waiting, i finally received my grail pen i ordered back in August 2019, the conid bulkfiller regular! I made a video going over what came with my order, some of the available accessories and some general comments on the quality of the pen and how it writes. I made it to provide some insight into how Conid's quality has changed since their order stoppage, and to show you guys waiting on your open orders or are keen on ordering one when they reopen orders, what you can expect from the company!

You can find my unboxing at this video link!

Thanks so much guys and let me know if you've got any questions or comments!

Great concise yet comprehensive breakdown of Conid; thank you @ace117 :P

I liked that you added the Platinum 3776 at the end as it is visual proof that it works. You may want to edit the video title, "Platinum 3667" for the Mt. Fuji fans :)

If you had to do it over or purchase another would you get the same set-up? or do something different like delrin parts or kingsize?

Thanks for the feedback and for pointing out my typo! haha.

With regards to doing it all over again, had to do it again or get another, I'd probably get another. I would most likely get the AVDA Phi edition to add to my collection if i had the chance. Honestly I cant remember why I didn't consider it when making my original purchase. I like clear demonstrators, so less delrin would almost always be my preference. And i didnt choose the kingsize specifically because i wanted to get the bock 250 adapter, which i dont think they make for the number 8 sized bocks

Great editing, clear explanations. Not a fan of the music, but to each his own. Are you planning on getting any titanium nibs?

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
