My First "hole Style" Demonstrator!

I got this for a song recently. Other than the slight burn mark on the barrel she's a beauty. I'll work on the burn mark eventually.

No clue on this one specifically. I have never had one before nor saw the point. I have seen some that show the entire lever system for display/sales purposes but only a couple like this. The hole is exactly opposite the lever.

Well, what they would do is drill out the burn mark.

I'm going on record to say no one took the pen apart to drill out a cigarette burn. A good piece of sand paper would have been much easier. If you are into laying your cigarette on your pen, obviously the pen is not that important.

Well, as someone who does some restoration I see cigarette burns more often than you would think and on really nice pens. This one does have a visible burn on it next to the lever slot. I have read of drilling the hole where a cigarette burn was as an acceptable repair.
