Hi,

 

Could someone take a picture of their Cross Vapor with the cap taken off? It looks like I have something exactly identical, but without Cross on it. Could someone also tell me which country it comes from?

Funny I just saw this, as I was inquiring on the Cross web site about my Vapor ball point pen. I don't think Cross makes a Vapor fountain pen. The ball point pen, for what's it worth, doesn't seem to write as well as the Cross refill does in a Sensa pen.

Hi,

 

I finally saw one in person at the same store that sold the my Sensa Classic ballpoint. It is made in---close your eyes!!!---China!! When I mean the cap, I mean that thing that comes off the end (I assume it comes off) so that you can refill the pen.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
